was thinking about doing some spring spacers on my fzj and i wanted to see some pictures of before and after. with only spring spacers. are the spring spacer going to lift my vehicle to stock height or can i get a larger then 30mm as man a fre sells. to like a 50mm will i see a huge difference? thnks

Here are what basic man-a-fre spacers look like. Don't mind the wheel spacers and caster bushing.

Metal Tech has FRONT spacers from 1.5" and 2" ...
They are MEtal and will last a lifetime, they will also lower your bump stop, they are a bit pricey $145 for the pair.

I got the 1.5" to level my 4" Ironman lift due to gear load, but if you are just going to do a spacer lift... I would go with the 2" Front coil spacer from MetalTech install and forget about it for ever!

:D

so how hard is it to install the man-a-fre. is it a one day job or a weekend?

1:banana: job, maybe an hour or 2.
They just sit on top of the spring. So you just remove the springs put on spacers and put spring/spacer back it.

what is the biggest i can go while keeping everything else stock like 50mm?

Biggest I'd go is 1".

Once you hit 2" you start getting into caster correction.

would i even be able to tell a big difference with just a one inch. and is there a one and a half out there?

slide in a floor jack under your cruiser and raise it 1" ~1.5
instead of going thru all that wrenching....if you dont think its a big difference in your liking simply slide out the floor jack ;)

+1.

I think you'll find that the higheryou go, the more beautiful your rig will become.

You could also gain 2" by a 1" body lift and a 1" spacer. Cheapest 2" lift.

Used springs come up for sale all the time here in the classified section if your on a fixed budget. Someone is always upgrading to something else. Depending on how high you go dictates if you'll need to correct with CC bushings or not.

Or the most costly all new springs, shocks, spacers and CC bushings or CC plates.

I use Metal Tech 1.5 inch front spacers and would not trade them...
