My rust-bucket 60 needs new shocks bad. I was considering new springs at the same time, as the OE springs are nearly flat coming off the axels, maybe a 5-10 degree upward rise, but not much. Is this right? I thought maybe they are saggy.
I was also considering going with a small lift even though it's my beater. Why not? I need to replace the shocks, and maybe the springs anyway, I might as well get a lift, right?
I still have about 2.5" of clearance between the top of the tire and fender lip- if that helps.
