Good questions. You ask a lot of good questions.

We have voted in March for the past couple years. However, since this announcement is with less than one weeks notice from the next meeting I anticipate that the vote will be pushed back to April.

I do not know if our bylaws specify a nomination period or official date for the vote, however all candidates should to be in good standing with the CLCC and TLCA.

Further details can be ironed out at the meeting this Wednesday.

Having the holiday party instead of a meeting in February messed up the normal flow of events. We will nominate and vote on the following offices:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
TLCA Delegate - Tracy will be stepping down when he moves in July Nominee: "Stumpalama"

If you are interested in serving in any of these positions, please post-up here so we can get through the nomination process quickly. You can nominate yourself.

Current office holders are:

President - Jon Sourbeer (willing to serve another term if you'll have me)
Vice President - Sam Fontanos (willing to serve, if folks are okay with missed meetings due to classes)
Secretary - Jim Ross
Treasurer - Fernando Sabio
TLCA Delegate - Tracy Barker (willing to serve through the June meeting only)

I'll step up and offer my services as TLCA delegate.

I further nominate Hakalugi as Treasurer (Good work begets more work).

Not a privacy concern, but should we continue/ move this to the private side?

nope. everyone that should have access to the private section does not b/c I still don't have an updated member list.
This also gives delinquent members a chance to pay their dues so they can vote/run.
This front page of our section gets more views, and will reach a larger number of current or potential members.

Club officer names are already publicly listed, so there is no reason to move this matter to the private section at this time.
We can use the private section as a method to remotely vote for candidates though. I believe our bylaws allow the condition for remote votes.

We can take nominations online or in the meeting. During the meeting we can confirm that everyone is comfortable with closing the ballot and doing an on-line vote in the private section...provided our current Secretary gets Sam the updated membership list in a more timely manner....ahem:rolleyes:
