On my way to lunch today at 11:00 I spotted a killer 60 series w/ 6" and probably 35's north bound on 48th st in Phoenix. White with a rack and some old school graphix (factory/dealer add?) on the side. @ jerrycans on the back and looked like it might have had sliders. Anybody know who this was. It looked like the kind of rig that we need included in our little group here.

i was head'n north on 487th today. did it look like this??

Dude,

Yep it looked just like that 'cept cleaner. I don't believe I've seen your truck here before, but I like it regardless.

That trail kinda looks like the Coke Ovens but the vegetaion is all wrong. Where is that?

haha!!! no rush, no grafix just plain white.
ive seen your rig posted here once or twice accasbel, didnt you just get done with some mods too?

The top pic is along the Gila at the crossing just south of the Coke Ovens. The second pic is on Hackberry Creek trail, east of Superior/south of 60. Now THAT was a fun trail.

I went on an expedition run with a group named SWANKy. They are mostly a Nissan bunch; Frontiers, Pathfinders, and Xterras. I meet them when I owned an Xterra, they are a group that didn’t bash IFS – ‘cuase they had it too. Nice people, they are waaay into pushing the envelope on what an IFS will do, and do some camping and expeditions along the way. This particular trip was six days/five nights. I was only able to go along for 3 nights & days. Had some fine wheel’n, camping, campfires, and Dutch oven treats.

Yeah, I just had some work done. This expedition was the truck's inaugural run. Inaugural in the sense that I had a chance to test the lift-n-lockers and new 35’s. What a wicked combo. The Xterra was good, but this ’62 opens up a whole new level, by leaps-n-bounds… It’ll be on the trail again soon – real soon!!!

And BMAN, thanks for the kind words.

congrats man the 60 looks good.. i know a few of the swanky guys, i actually sold a patrol i had to james, he is the new pappa. also on top of that hill is err, whats his name? black and blue fronty. he recently laid that truck on its side

Hackberry Creek is an awesome trail.
Tried it once. Made it to the cow pasture and turned back for fear of damage.
I think that'd make a nice test run when the 60 is a little more built.
Accasbel- Nice rig.
