split case pto setup

sorry that I missed this. I'm on the slow hunt for a split case PTO setup with a rear output ( to mount in the rear). If you ever get the thing all ready to go I'd love to see pics from end to end before you get it installed as I think I'm going to have to pick this up in sections.

John, next time I come through I'll bring the '60 and then you can check out a fully installed split case PTO setup. I think I also have the gears and shafts for a PTO gearbox here just no housing in case you find a bare housing. I also have a winch head with a broken foot but no guts.
 
mine actually came off of a 70 series, so to fit to a 60 i would have to modify the winch mount, drive shaft length and in-cab controls. i'm on the fence between putting it on my lv project or my 62 daily driver. i'm now leaning toword the lv.
 
John, Volcano Cruiser, has a BJ40 or BJ42 with the split case, same as my BJ60 so he can see how the PTO bolts up to the split case. I was visiting him last time I was though ElSalvador about a month or so ago with my FJ55.

The only mods needed to switch between '40, '60 or '70 series is the mount for the winch head. All else should be close enough.
 
So is this still available or has this turned into a Tech thread? I'm confused.
