The Speski OffRoad, LTD 100 series/LX470 barrier is finally complete.
Construction is much like the 80 series and 4Runner. 3/4" square tube with a heavy gauge 2"x4" pattern welded wire. No drilling required. All mounting bolts use existing captured nuts in your Cruiser's headliner. This unit is designed for vehicles equipped with the rear AC option only. Final product will be powder coated black and shipped via FedEx ground. Not to be used with vehicles equipped with side impact air bags or with passengers seated in the 3rd row. For offroad use only.
Cost:
$375 to your door powder coated black.
+ sales tax for Colorado residents
- $45 bare metal
- $30 pick up in person
Pictures below are of the final prototype. I painted this with a textured spray paint. Its the closest thing to the powder I use. I plan to make a small change to the production drivers side mounting bracket/s. In that I'll have it cut as one piece like the passenger. The only notable difference to the pic is that the junction between them will be radiused like passenger. Pics to follow after I receive the first batch of brackets.
I am now accepting pre-orders for the first production run. Please take the time to read all the info in the first 3 posts of this thread and ask any questions you have before ordering. Do to the different options and model year changes to the 100/LX470 I want to make sure this will fit your truck. Right now 1998-2002 seems to be the range.

Timeline will be dictated by the number of orders I receive. But the first batch should be ready to ship by the end of July.
