Speedometer ? (1 Viewer)

My recent purchase of a 1972 FJ40 came with speedometer, but seeing as it has no needle on it is perhaps unfixable. The only 2 gauges that work are the volt / ammeter and fuel. Thinking perhaps oil pressure and temp could work, but at the time when the 350 SBC was swapped for the F, they were just not hooked up and mechanical gauges installed. Here are the questions: 1) can i pull the speedometer out of a 1975 unit 2) what do i need to look for regarding the cable / speed sensor and finally 3) this has 33" tires on it, will the speed be off once I get the first 2 questions taken care of and if so can the speedometer be adjusted like in a modern unit?
