I should have updated my post since three years ago. I tried this and it didn’t work for me. I now have a Yellow Box and it’s working great for the past 20k miles.
Wonder why it didn't work?

About to do lift and 285s and planning to recalibrate. Any more feedback on the Lutz? Their site makes it very clear how it installs.I tried yo tell ya
Nick, thanks for your reply! I had completely missed the link to your detailed review. Just went and read and its pretty compelling. Lutz is running a sale right now so I’m going to give it a shot!Hopefully someone else who has the Lutz box will weigh in as I seem to be the only one to review it. It was an easy install including the calibration and is still working perfectly.
DittoWhats your definition of a larger tires? On my 2004 LX, I have 38x15.50 which is probably one of the biggest tires I have seen on a LX or I think only one has a 40" tires on a 100 series Landcruiser. I was able to calibrate my speedometer/GPS using the built in calibration within the factory Lexus navigation system. I don't care how it got calibrated but somehow both my speedometer and GPS were successfully calibrated. With my large tires my speedometer is right on with "this is your speed" radar based check, I also used my wife car to pace me at the same speed to check, as well as my now new navigation (pioneer avic 8200) GPS based speed and my phone GPS or cell tower location based speed. All I'm saying is if you have a factory Lexus navigation system, give it a shot before you spend your money. Somebody in this community have posted the same question and after long discussions he was able to calibrate and got similar result as mine even though he only have ~33" tires.
Here is the other discussion:
Is there a way to correct speedometer after bigger tires
Can you point me to directions for that, please? Thank you.I was able to calibrate my speedometer/GPS using the built in calibration within the factory Lexus navigation system.
