This sweet ride was for sale near me... I missed it, but I can't shake the need for another LC in my life... (Had a 40th Anniversary that I miss everyday)

Want one like this, simple... OME lift, upgraded tires....

My question is what solutions out there for correcting the speedometer when you up-size tires?

It should effect ABS, odometer, etc shouldn't it?

I don't remember seeing some programmer that you can correct this issue.

thanks!!!

I have a yellowbox speedo corrector. Super easy to install but, as Mike6158 says, instructions are needlessly complicated. Since the lovely State of California does not have mile markers on the highways, and I don't have a stand-alone GPS that gives me speed read-outs, I calibrated mine on a road trip to Seattle. Plenty of mile markers through Oregon and Washington to dial it in.

Another volte for yellow box - great product, easy to use. Set it and forget it.

Thanks for that info, my LX has read lower than actual from new (factory wheels/tires) and it has always bothered me. I just ordered a Yellow Box pnp to fix it after 17 years of annoyance.

Yellow box is really simple, right solution imho.

Anybody use this Marks 4WD unit on a 100? Seems pretty slick as you just input OEM tire size and then new tire size- also looks like you can change on the fly which is nice for people who swap winter / summer tires at different sizes.

If you have any experience with removing pins from electrical connectors, it is possible to remove all of the pins and run the wiring through a rubber grommet then reinstall the pins in their previous locations in the plug.

This allows you to have the yellow box inside of the cab without cutting the harness. The box fits near the gear shifter under the center console trim.

Some members cut and splice the harness back together. Others simply mount everything under the truck.
