How much lift would I get out of a cut and turn with my stock springs? I'm in the contimplation mode between C&T and Alan's lift. Although I'm not gonna do it tomorrow I would probably wait till I got a disk front axle. Marshall besides the u bolts and perches and the few nuts you had to buy was there any other major purchases you had to make?

Chuck

Yep there is the aqula arm. Or going with a hysteer setup which is $$$ bling bling. The aqula was around 200. I reused my ubolts but with new nuts. I know its a no no and plan on replacing sometime. But they held up in Tellico. You might also need some longer brake lines but you can just add an extension to it. Then lets see you need to put an anti wrap bar; it cost me 60$. And then you need to extend your rear ds. I didn't have to do my front since I cut and turned. Thats about it. Not bad and a lot better than going with lifted springs. So much more flex. And you need to check travel on your shocks. You probably will have to change them anyway with lifted spring or end up with the Cuban effect. :flipoff2:

Chuck, If you decide to go this way especially since Alex has free stock springs don't let our deal interfere. If a SO is what you want I'll send Alex a bill for the lift and forget the whole thing! Really like Marshalls a lot myself.

The Cuban Effect... Is this like a rash Alex? :flipoff2:

Anyone in the club have any experience with springing over a 62? Well the better question would be, do you want to help me get some experience? I'm planning on being SOA by next summer. I guess the first step would be to get a list of materials/cost.

The funny thing is, everytime I go crawlin' under momo to look at my undercarriage or to tighten up somthing.........I want to vomit.

It's def. going to be a jobby job FO SHO!

Yeah I am still sloshin it back and forth...I'm not sure what to ask for the transfer case Alan. But so far it's 260 bucks to do the spring over plus another 60 or 100 bucks for the DS extension...so your lift is lookin less and less expensive. But I'm not rushing you at all Alan, take your time, I know your daughter is about to get hitched, plus I don't know when I'll get to take out the t case.
