Thanks for the offers, but I am working on a Jrob fab class to help me do the fenders:). So I might be heading south. Will see what works out.
On another note I am redoing my carb linkage and replacing it with a cable. Anyone ever tried this before? Ordered a universal kit from summit and will have to modify the gas pedal. Will post up some results when done.
I also have to figure out how to replace the threaded part on the inside of the windshield frame. Where the hinge mounts to. One side is stripped out. Tried to rethread but the hole is to big. I know I could go try and go up a bolt size, then the bolts would be different. So my thoughts are to cut out a section under the hinge location and pull the bad part out remake and replace. All this without screwing the paint that can be seen up.

Bring it! 21st is good! The earlier you can get on the 20th the better!! Will take it to get the Orion installed an the fenders built.....one hellava long weekend....but alot of fun!!

We can handle handle the linkage issue to. Not going to say what I used....but it works!!!!!

Turns out the damn thing runs great! I tipped him $100 for bringing it!

Drove the 40 yesterday with the Lori. Not far just to town and back. Only had 1 person ask we're the windshield was:) Driving a 40 without a windshield on the road was not lori's favorite part. I ate two bugs, both Not bad tasting!
Still have some minor mechanical issue to sort through. Nothing to major.
I love driving this thing!

I have my windshield down too. My wife hates it also. :hillbilly:

Wrenching season is here and Time has come to install the Orion:clap: Will do it next Saturday at Jrobs, also build some MT front fenders. Hope to see some CLC peeps.
