Spent 6 months building houses and a church in Mozambique..

Extreme culture shock. If you've never been somewhere waaay below the poverty line, you should.. Its eye opening..

Got a bunch of pics, heres a couple.

let me know if ur interested in the rest of the pics.

thanks
Ryan

They have a main power source in the city. Less than a mile away. We had electricians with us running power from the source.

They pay no electric bill or anything. Kinda cool...

The day we got there, i rode past a group of people digging a grave, low and behold, it was the kids mom we built the house for. She was 31 and died from aids. Tough Times Down There.
You guys should see the shower i had to use. I made it..
More pics coming soon..

great pics! Thats cool you were able to go down there and help!

It's one thing to say you're helping people with the money you donate, but it's always more satisfying to see the look on a person's face when you go out there and help them build a house or fix that old Truck or what have. Sometimes you have to get your hands a bit dirty and calloused and say,"These hands have helped others. Have yours?"

So did everyone get a new house or just a few select families? Worst place I've ever seen is the Dominican Republic, the kids are the worst part.........

props man! keep the pictures rolling...

awesome stuff you are doing Ryan, keep the pics coming!!

Ryan, Well done. How did the guys accept the new house, bit of a change I bet.
You should have seen them. Tears coming out of a 35 year old man who has seen sadder things than you could imagine. You would have thought we gave them the world.

Select families. Single parents with multiple children were the target. Spending 3 months there sometime in the next year with the same group

Exactly, and considering im broke, it felt great...

No no no, you ain't broke. You are rich and millionaire compaired to other third world countries. You feel good when you done something great like this one. How was your emotion when you saw that 35 year old man cried? There's a lot of things we take for granted here in ole USA.
Keep the pictures coming, please. I salute :beer:and take my hat off for what you are doing:cheers:.
