Source For Weld In Recovery Points?

Hacking an ARB Front Bumper - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board
In a need for REAL tow points I want to do this to my ARB like Ken did his but it looks like Way Offroad who supplied the recovery points went the way of the dodo. So I'm looking for other sources that carry recovery points suitable for this hack job. Thanks.

you should go to a steel yard and buy there scraps and just bust out the grinder and drill press and make some up, i have been pondering this mod for some time Chris we should get some steel and do it up some weekend

Not quite the answer you want.....but I have avoided the weld in/d-ring approach and opted for a swivel hoist ring. You get a ring pivot of 180 degrees and a complete 360 rotation. Here is a picture of the product I purchased.

Another approach would be to weld in a street plate lifting ring, similar rotation capability. The second photo shows that application.

That would be awesome! We should set a weekend aside and do this. There's not many scrap yards around here I'm aware of. Mostly by your way. But I can look around at work for some suitable scrap.
I want to do this like Ken did where he made a hole and slid it in and bolted it and welded the crap out of it. I like the idea of the bolts in the back as an extra safety measure if the welds should ever break.
