at the RE-Run event someone brought up that it is possible to drive through FL into the Northern States (GA) without tucking pavement.. via national forest and service roads. this sounds like something worth exploring. if anyone has info on where to look, a map i could purchase, know of someone who has done it, have them contact me. thanks

Justin @FLcruiser813 was talking about it, I'd love to do it!!

im saying lt may be fun to do sections of it at a time... FL can be an amazing landscape when you get in to the less populated areas. ill check with Justin and see thanks Traskew (root beer man)

I imagine it would be pretty difficult not to touch any pavement unless you jumped over roads :flipoff2:

I remember @lowtideride and @mel lowe talking about this as well... or at least I think I remember. Hard to say with all the hops clogging my brain.

I am game. I know you can do this in parts of GA, not sure how great it would be in Florida but I am down for either one or both. I am heading out west in February but aside from that month I am game. Wanted to make the last run but was called into work. Stoked for travel.

BTW... Ill be in the ONF for the x-mas camping... Juniper Springs...

There are websites out there dedicated to doing this all over the US. I've had chats with a couple people who have done it and there's a lot of planning and map reading involved. Planning all ur stops for camping a fuel. I think it would be a lot of work to set up a full camp every night. You can download all the us forestry maps online now as a pdf and then verify which roads are currently open. US forestry also rates each trails condition on a number scale. There is a guy currently doing a trip in a new 4Runner. I don't have a Facebook but on Instagram he marking them all #FLtoMAINE. I've been very interested in doing this for quite some time now. I would need to print all the maps out to plan it, no way I could do this digitally.

Last time I was talking with Luis while going back and forth to the tire shop he mentioned he would like to make a trip to see rocky and Bret and stop in GA and see Danny on the way. Bret is always saying come on up! I've been dying to see telluride !!

I just accepted a new job but it doesn't start tip 2-8-16 so I got some time if y'all wanna do this anytime soon !!

Thanks Buddy! ;)

I know a Dr that might let me borrow one ;)

A Colorado trip would be nice. Bret is right in the middle of prime beautiful wheeling territory.
My goal is to make it back there. Never got to wheel there yet. Probably 2017 for me.
