I'm not sure why you would want a 2 door LV. They are the only 40 series model that has 4 doors - one of the things that sets them apart and makes them unique. A troopy would fit the bill if you are after a 2 door LWB 40.
Hey... they are your trucks... do what you want. I do agree that the 4 door LV is rare enough that I would not personally want to make one into a 2 door but if that is what must happen to make one of these live again then so be it.
As someone that has a big LV project waiting in the driveway I would welcome an influx of used parts - let me call DIBS on... well, just give me a chance to get together a list!

I pmed ya a few years ago on Pirate about some LV parts. Then I never replied back.....sorry about that. Good to hear you are looking at getting one of those LV's going. I keep trying to work on my LV but Ultra4 racing keeps taking all my time.
If you still have some extra stuff, I would love to get a few things from ya. I'll work on my "needs" list and see if there's anything you can help me with.....or vice versa.

Jack, Just let me know what you need when you need it. I don't think I will be building a 2door lv.... I will probably get all the door handles and window cranks and such re chromed next time I send out chrome work. I don't think to many people will be beating down my door for 45lv chrome, at least not after they find out how much it is to have done.
I like what I did with the last wagon frame. It was a frame with no wagon body. Just a little bit of welding and a junkyard fj40.
My fj60 will be finished again in the next few weeks.
Making plans for the 1967 fj45 truck now. I need to hunt down some corner window rubber and some other weatherstrip. I have not looked in years, so not sure what is available, or not. I have all my lights,(including tail) 80% of all the oem fasteners, most every thing I need. I had a front axle powder coated along with the full float rear 8 years ago. Already welded in a later firewall(the original was full of torched holes,brace long gone). I had a full set of hardtop latches made in Pakistan. Gas tank is restored. Just been putting of the project.
I am building a cart to put the cab on this weekend. I won't be doing anything till the 60 wagon is finished. I work fast on one project, but with bird dog training, work and all of my other chores I can't do multiple builds at the same te anymore.

My ex did this work, she was a good girl. She is long gone, kinda why I never finished the 45 lwb.
