The bridge crossing. Photos never do it justice, while it was easier than it first looked, it was a bit of a tight squeeze for us wagons.

Nice write-up. Thx Jeff. Too bad about them battle scars. I guess those sliders need to be out as far as the body to help push past stuff. Hope the scrub wasn't too bad. That too can make a mess of an inner guard panel.

I couldn't go because we sent the wife off to Mexico on points (aka the milk run route) last night. She made it but was short one bag (the one with all the presents for family) when she got to Mexico City.:mad:
 
The sliders had nothing to do with it, that rear tire was stuffed right up and tore the flare off. I'd remove them all, but the tires stick out way too far with the flares off. I'll be putting my AT's back on anyways, those mud t/a's are at least 20 years old, and not safe for highway use anymore.

yep...its a special funnel cone type thing i put in my exhaust tip ;)

that was dylans 81 john...going up that ledge. left my lower lip of the arb in a bit dented in..d'oh!. here some of my pics:

dave takin the other way round...which proved to be a challenge as well. slippery rocks and loose dirt resulted in pulling line.

kim went the same way as well. with a bit longer wheelbase, and some time with the foot on the loud pedal, he was able to get up-n-over

great day out. funny that both the hikers and quadders were surprised to see a bunch of mall crawlin wagons up there...i asked em which way to the nearest starbucks n they chuckled. gotta get these kids rounded up for a nice camping trip soon...sept perhaps. we'll see
