I usually don't do any trip reports, but like reading them so i decided I was bored and I'd post a few pictures and videos. Myself and a couple friends went up to eagle ridge on Monday.
Airing down.
Since we had already gone to the main look out a couple times we did a little more exploring. We first went down the power lines to the bottom and then up the pipeline which was pretty uneventful so we proceeded up to the main trail.
My friend in the red toyota had just bought it and had an oil pressure light come on so he decided to park half way up, which has since turned out to be just a bad sensor. Here's the second obstacle, the EB taking the left line and me the right. Hopefully my linking works?

We took a right at the log bridge and went looking for the old tower look out. I tried a few times to get up the steps, but gave up, being lockerless sometimes you have to give up. We ran into some quaders, the guy on the grizzly in the picture eventually also gave up after lifting some tires and getting sketchy.

Here's a video I found on you tube that shows a bunch of toyotas trying the steps with a little more eagerness. It starts at about 2:20 in the video.

Here's one of me trying it a couple years ago, it was a lot easier then.

My friend in the Bronco decided he likes his wheels on the ground and parked and we all walked the 150 feet to the look out. It was a smoggy day but the view was still pleasurable.
We headed down another trail that I had never been on that ended up joining up with the main trail. Somebody has put laminated signs on the trails so it's not much of a guessing game. We said hi to some hikers on our way down and left for home. Adam paused to test the flex on his new truck.
That's it.
