It's that time if you are wanting to join, always a good time! Spaces with in the group and at KOA will fill up fast... check it out!

Thanks for letting us know. I signed up.

Just sent you an email for the wait list. This thing filled up quick lol

Yes it did, one year when everyone knew it was coming, it sold out in less than an hour!
So, we try to sneak it in to see what happens.
Most ppl on the waitlist can get in, life may have different plans for ppl. 👍🏼

I see six rigs coming from NM. Are they all on HDC?

Let's see:

Roger that @Mesa Woman, Just let me know where to meet you and I’ll be ready to convoy! Now are you traveling so slow and steady that you are leaving on Saturday and arriving on Sunday? Also, I’m about 60% 43 and 40% 80!

Depends on which rig we decide to take. It’s looking like the 40 so we won’t be that slow but if others need to be slow we can be. Last year we broke up the drive.

The 43 sure is pretty special! As well as the 80! 🤪

I haven’t decided whether to drive my ‘79 40 or trailer it. If I drive it, I’m a solid 55mph all the way. Since I’m coming from Las Cruces, I definitely can’t make it in one day in the ‘79 40.

Right now the plan is for my ‘69 to get a R2.8 and 5-speed, so I’ll be able to do 75mph all the way.

This is completely unrelated, but I sat in the new 2024 Land Cruiser today at the NADA Show.

What about that 2024, are you all in with it?

I used to be a Toyota dealer. I think I’ll have drive one first before I can say that I’m all in. I like the styling (though I wish they put the round headlights with the better features.) Interior is nice. Seems similar to a 4Runner or GX.

I was about to harass you for teasing us that you sat in a new LC and didn't give us any photos. I was driving through DFW Metroplex on Tuesday, headed home to Sandia Park, and I saw the new GX being advertised on a billboard. I got a little excited and my wife rolled her eyes.

I would be up to convoy. I was looking to drive up Sunday and driving the 45. I was contemplating driving up by way of Pagosa Springs then cutting over to Durango but I am not committed to this route. I would be fine with which ever way the group goes

We usually prefer that way. And we will be checking in on Sunday so not sure if traveling all day Sunday in the 40 is the way to go… maybe!
When do you check in?

I will be staying in friends site, so checking on Sunday with them would be my plan.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make SAS8 this year due to conflicts with finances/ running our own business. Either way, wanted to put our camping reservation up for grabs at the KOA in case someone is in need. Details for the days that we reserved are on the image provided. Let me know and I will try and contact the KOA to make the proper arrangements to transfer the reservation.

Cheers.
