I was trying to find that info. I may have to call them, but it’s next to Ali on the north end of the camp ground in the tent section. I recall Ali saying that the sites available at the time were 21,22, and 23.
Chat with Jeff at KOA or you can chat through me, I’m keeping close contact with Jeff. I can ask him where you’re at as well.

Hey guys, unfortunately I can't make the summit. So bummed, but wanted to be sure to open up my spot should there be a waiting list.

I recall that most of the New Mexico group are planning to drive up Sunday. I am currently planning to leave Saturday and drive up through Pagosa going up torward Lake City but cutting over to take Stoney Pass over to Silverton. My plan is to camp somewhere along the pass route. Is there anyone interested in joing me a day early?

I know the Texas Crew is taking the same route but it sounds like they are around 17 rigs already, so I may run over separate to reduce the foot print.

We are leaving early Sunday morning, going through Pagosa then towards Durango and up.
We’ll have our 40 and our sons will be in their Tacoma.
We want to get to camp fairly early as we have to set up our camp and then be ready to set up registration camp with trail leaders meeting at 7.

If anyone wants to join us, you’re welcome to.

@rlocke49 when are you heading out?

Some of the convoy might split up. Not sure how many but some may break off and go through Durango to get to camp earlier.

I haven’t decided whether to drive my ‘79 40 or trailer it. If I drive it, I’m a solid 55mph all the way. Since I’m coming from Las Cruces, I definitely can’t make it in one day in the ‘79 40.

Right now the plan is for my ‘69 to get a R2.8 and 5-speed, so I’ll be able to do 75mph all the way.

This is completely unrelated, but I sat in the new 2024 Land Cruiser today at the NADA Show.
What are your travel plans?

@alia176
What are your travel plans?
Are you staying at the KOA the whole week?

yup, the whole week. Isabelle and Dennis will be with me as well. I'll be departing Sunday and heading through Durango while towing the camper behind the 80, which means I'll be rather slow from Durango to Ouray. Isabelle is coming up on Tues, as of now, in her 4runner. The kids can make up an IFS crew and get into shenanigans.

Hey! We’re headed up to Durango Saturday, then on to Ouray Sunday morning. Maybe we can link up and caravan up from Durango?

Yes. I’ll let you know our eta there, hopefully doing good on time and be able to!

Has anyone started a photo dump that can be shared for #8. I’m getting fragments. Saw Gamaviti’s video of us all line up. Very very cool. Assume Ian will funnel some of the drone shots through Mud?
