Partial Resto-Mod
(work done by previous owner, so I have limited knowledge)
Interior has been redone & updated with some more modern amenities; I'm not sure how deep the rebuild went, other than interior modifications (ie, structural restoration).
Some original features have been changed
Rear sofa area has been rebuilt and converted into large sleeping platform with storage area underneath (platform hinges up to allow access)
Fold down bunk above rear bed has been removed and a shelf built in it's place.
Exterior trunk compartment has been removed (area under rear bed utilizes this space), exterior door still present, but does not open.
Refrigerator has been updated with modern A/C only fridge/freezer
Original Gas stove/oven, works good
Original fresh water tank with 12V pump to original sink, also has separate faucet for exterior water hook-up.
NO grey-water tank, exterior drain (I rigged up a 5gal water tank to catch grey-water when camping off-grid)
Cabinet built to mount microwave (this I built, but it hasn't been painted yet)
Counter ant table refinished in a cherry-oak finish
All cushions re-done in nice brown fabric
Custom curtains
Gas furnace
Updated with roof mounted A/C unit (Cools amazingly)
Vizio flat screen TV, mounted on swing arm to allow viewing from front, back, or both
DVD player, mounted in closet, with face flush mounted through wall to allow access from back bed
Bookshelf sound system for audio
Battery powered LED puck lighting mounted throughout (RGBW) along with 12v and 120v lighting
Vintage Lincoln wheels
Spare tire mounted on rear
Exterior has some flaws (it's a 40+ year old trailer)
But NO roof leaks that I've ever experienced
THREE marine deep cycle batteries
1000 watt DC to AC inverter with interior control switch
Onboard DC battery charger
This model does NOT have a bathroom, but small portable toilet included
Trailer electrical updated with sealed 7 Way from tongue to front compartment where junction box is installed
I repacked wheel bearing last year and checked brake system
Brake system - Electrical tested GOOD to backing plates, but actual electric brakes are non-functional (yet original)
Being the original style brakes, parts are almost non-existent. I looked into a retrofit kit to update brakes from backing plate out, but never actually did it because it towed fine, fully loaded, without brakes behind my LIFTED Toyota Landcruiser FJ80. (mild sway above 65MPH)
Don't really want to sell, but I just don't use it anymore (only used 1X in the last year)
Current CA registration with PTI (meaning you only pay registration once every 5 years)
Feel free to ask any additional questions that I haven't covered here.
$3500 OBO
