1996 FZJ80 Moonglow Pearl - 233,000 miles - NO LOCKERS - $11,750 OBO. Solana Beach, Ca. (North County, SD).

JT3HJ85J8T0129046

My buddy bought this car last year with a blown head gasket. He had a Toyota specialty shop in Mira Mesa rebuild the top end with Toyota parts. New valve seals, and full head job done. New Koyo radiator as well. He had the flares removed and patched professionally, then the entire truck re-painted with Toyota Moonglow Pearl (original color). Roof rack holes also patched.

The truck runs strong, passes smog with flying colors and is awesome to drive. There is absolutely no rust, assuming it has been a SoCal truck its whole life. If buyer is in California, I will get smog for you if you'd like. The seats have been fully re-upholstered with a pleather material (feels really nice and durable!)

Truck has brand new OME 2.5" suspension. New 285/75R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on black powder coated OEM wheels. ARB bullbar with Snorkel. New Pioneer double DIN head unit.

Notes:
PHH has been fixed
Needs new front pads
Main window switch is aftermarket
3rd row seats included
2nd row seats were not re-upholstered but in fair-good shape
DS headlamp has a small hole in it
Rear DS running lamp (red little light) has a chip
New, but aftermarket starter

Please PM me if you're interested.
Thanks.

Watching & waiting for undercarriage & under hood shots. Obviously a neglected truck professionally redone,( bad thing, good thing ). Along with my interest, is my concern as to what type and quality clear coat was used on repaint.

Ok I've added photos.

I wouldn't be too worried about it being neglected. I wish I had the photos of it when he bought it though. The paint and truck were in great shape, but since he wanted to do the deflare, he decided to just get the whole thing painted, since it did have some of the normal clear coat chipping. As you probably know, the HG failure is common. Give me/us an offer if you'd like.

Paint was done by a solo guy who does hot rods out in East County. I can get his number I guess. I believe the paint job was in the $5k range.

I am here all weekend to show it. Thanks!

Pic of stereo. Notice shifter handle is worn.
