I've been sitting on my 80 for a couple years as a third vehicle. It is used primarily for hauling my mtn bike to the trail head. Since January of this year I've put @1,500 miles on it. And, now it is time for the truck to go. I bought this truck from a mud member in mid 2009, with 217,000 miles on the clock. With 265,500 mile on the odometer today, I have gotten my decade of joy from it, and am ready to pass it to another member.
1996 White 80 in good shape and all stock. Starts, runs, drives great. I do not have time or space for it anymore. No wrecks, no rust, straight panels, and not missing any parts. Engine was replaced in 2011 when the truck had 226,000 miles. Newer engine had 126,000 miles, and came from a totaled 1996. I have paper, and photos from the donor truck. Lots of left over parts from donor truck.
Price is $2,000. I am located in Raleigh NC and it needs to be gone by month end.
The bad and ugly:
CEL for 401 and 420.
Needs tires.
Needs baseline and cleaning.
Rear lift gate (top part) is dented from parking deck (I have a replacement in good shape - needs cleaning).
Spots oil in driveway. not enough to make a difference.
Driver seat and steering wheel need recovering.
Extras:
Spare white hood.
Spare white valance between hood and windshield.
Spare front calipers and rotors.
Spare alternator and starter.
Misc bits of trim.
Spare rear gates, lift and tail.
Spare stock springs.
Photos are from January this year. Nothing has changed, except the truck is dirtier now.
I will check back on mud daily, and remove when the truck is gone.
