I'm reviving this thread as a possible job relocation has given me impetus to move this project rig as I have no time or inclination to move it cross country.
I'll post pics and as complete a list of parts I have on hand, I'd like to sell everything as one lot but I might consider selling individual parts out of my spares. I don't have the space or time to part out the LC .
Runs and drives, standard rusty spots in the rear quarters, rockers, roof rails and front windshield. No leaks at this time, windshield does have a 5" crack from a rock ding. I have the clean sheet metal from a Texas donor vehicle (Cruiser Yard) to repair the rear quarters and rockers if you're so inclined. The frame was sandblasted and repaired in the rear hanger area and the rear wheel wells to pass RI inspection.
OME 2.5" lift that is a bit older but serviceable.
Has a new catback exhaust put on about three years ago and I rebuilt the front axles with parts from Cruiser Outfitters to include Marlin seals about two years ago.
Engine could use a valve adjustment.
Tires would get you home, but it will probably need new tires if you're going to drive it regularly.
Wheel it, fix it, part it out to make another rig whole. Lots of good parts I've accumulated to include:
Rear quarter and rocker sheet metal from Texas donor vehicle
5 Rock Crawler wheels
Roof rack
Wagon Gear black window filler
Spare carburetor and carburetor rebuild kit
Spare radiator fan shroud
Spare drivers seat (seat is roached but mechanicals are good)
Original console in gray
Gaskets (I believe side and valve cover)
Oil filter
Water pump
Bumper ends x2
Misc. interior plastic bits
Ash tray - Gray
A/C control for dash
Complete set of front and rear doors and upper tailgate. Lower tailgate on rig is solid. Out of the doors on the truck and spares you should be able to build 4 solid doors for the LC, but will take a repair to lower corner of both spare fronts.
Tons of other spares that might be okay or junk, got a huge rubbermaid container full of parts when I bought the doors. You can easily fill up the LC with spare parts and drive away to fix, wheel, sell. Just need it gone so I don't have to send it to the crusher.
Asking $1750 for everything. You come pick it up and drive it away. I could deliver within reason in the MA/CT/RI area.
