She’s SOLD!!! 1984 FJ60, Houston Texas asking $10k 186,766 miles, price reduced June 20th for motivated buyer.
I'm the 2nd owner, vehicle has always been located in Houston.
Never been used for mudding, only few times on dirt roads.
All original except: bull bar, OME (installed six months ago), BFG all terrain 10.5x33 (installed in November)
Original bumper and ski racks included in sale.
Very solid ride and always been reliable.
I've kept up with all maintence and changed fluids routinely.
Only things that need attention are to put new struts on back hatch door and minor oil leak from main seal, I just haven't had the time to attend to it.

I can provide more details, answer questions or send more photos upon request: text me is best 281-723-6902.

Thanks,
David

Hi All,
I just get her tuned up, been using her as my daily driver and she’s purring like a lion! Would love to keep her but need to part ways and focus on my 40 & 45. So she’s still for sale and would be a solid and clean ride for a 6O enthusiast or someone wanting to get into 60. I’m now asking $18k as I think that’s a fair price for her as you don’t see many with this low mileage, lightly used on trails (no hard core 4x4) and all around solid ride. Let me know if you are interested, I can post more fotos, tell more about her or let locals test drive.
Thanks,
David

I would steam clean the engine, clean up your door fabric and shine her up if you want to get top dollar. Not a bad looking truck...I paid $13 for one in better condition, but I think the guy could of squeezed a couple more grand out of it if he would of been more patient.

Thanks for the advice! My intentions are not to squeeze here, just want a fair price for both parties really. Never thought I’d sell her (guess same ol’story for most cruiser heads on Mud) my first time selling, priorities change over time and also want to focus on my 40 & 45. As you stated, going to spend some time detailing her as might have some more interest. I’m not in a hurry just not using her like she should be. Later Dave

that's cool, I hope you get as much as you can....always the goal when selling. I would imagine if you put a few hours in detailing and even clean up those rust spot you could get your $16K. I think it is a pretty desirable color.

Looks good, but I would say price is a bit steep with dents, rust, and obvious blemishes under hood (not like a torn intake boot really matters, just doesn't convey that "I took care of every damn thing on this truck" feeling that makes people plunk down large amounts of cash). Just my $.02, good luck with the sale!

Heckraiser, thanks for your input. Being you think it’s a bit steep, what do you think is a fair price for my 60 from what you observe in the photos here?
Thanks,
David

I would snatch it up for $10-12k if I had a place to put it. This truck could really shine with a little work. If I was in your shoes, I would get the rust spots fixed, clean up the door panels/carpet and engine bay and stick with $16k. (or just keep the damn thing! :) )
