Good morning y'all,

I'm in the process of pulling my fuel tank on my 75 BJ40 for some much-needed cleaning. The hardlines looks solid, but I thought I'd replace the soft lines while they are empty.
Couple of questions for the MUDDERS

1. Are the fuel lines the same for FJ40s and BJ40s? maybe some crossover, maybe none?
2. Either way, are they still available OEM or reman? With the bends some of them have, I would think some would almost have to be OEM.

I'm having trouble tracking down part numbers to even begin a search.

Thanks,
Russell

Good luck finding OEM. New fuel lines are fairly flexible. They probably are the same on BJ FJ, my guess is 6mm id. Fuel hose is fuel hose, no gas or diesel hose.
I have never heard of anyone having problems with non OEM fuel hose providing it was the correct diameter.

Thanks @roscoFJ73 I recently put an inline filter in and the hose I used for that was 5/16 / 7.9 MM ID. I'll double check everything when I get the tank out.
I'm not that hung up on OEM, just need clean fuel.

Is it one of those small types for petrol engines? I would get a proper diesel filtration system.

I have the OEM filter further down the line. This was just so I could see what's coming through the lines

Anybody have any clue as the ID of the hose that runs from top of tank to ancillary connection on the fuel filler neck? Connects to the top of the tank. I assume it's a way to balance pressure or recirculate fumes. Can't find anything by looking up the part number in the diagram below

Attaches here and has black cloth mesh around it.

Pretty big ID as well. Putting together my McMasters order figured I might as well order 'em all, even though my current one is in decent shape for 46 years old (better than me, that's for sure)

Of course, I can always measure mine, but I was hoping somebody had an official measurement.
