Unless i need something same day i don't buy anything locally from our dealers.
I get my parts from Dan @ American Toyota in New Mexico. He gives a smokin' discount.

For great service i go to Yotamasters. Eric used to work for Allpro Offroad and they're great guys.
They have great pricing and know their stuff.

Dan is the man for IH8MUD members; make sure to ask for him, ext 8 if I am not mistaken. Make sure to tell him you hear about him on IH8MUD.com. His prices cannot be beat, no sales tax and shipping is free if you buy over a 100 bucks. Add it all up and it's a heck of a deal. Also is experience with the 80 Series LC is another huge plus. He can usually diagnose a problem quickly and make sure you get all the parts needed the first time to fix it.

Ditto Cruiserdan for parts unless you've got an emergency. If you're stuck on using a Yota dealer, I've had fairly good service at what is now known as Toyota of San Juan Capistrano (formerly Family Toyota). It's way south of LA tho.

Besides Dan, prepare to bend over and get screwed. IIRC from Toyota Trails magazines, Northridge Toyota offers discounts to TLCA members.

ok if i cant get my parts from Cdan...(aka i need them asap) I print out a check out sheet from www.1sttoyotaparts.com for the parts i want and make the dealer match that. Here is what i say if they(/www.1sttoyotaparts.com/) can make $$ so can out at this price, every time they meet the price a demand.

another praise for yotamaster

I concur regarding yotamaster. I am glad they so close.
Funny I had a dream that they had a showroom and moved even closer to me-can't believe I dream about yotamaster.

Anyhow, they are diligent and thorough with their diagnosis. They track down even the smallest of problems and can handle the big stuff too.

Miller in Culver City did warranty work on my Tundra and made a mess & it took much longer than was quoted. They sold me an extremely expensive "5 year" battery that failed in 4 months while I was in Mexico (the reason I bought it, they said the original battery was failing and I did not want to have to worry about it in Mexico where all things automotive are 50% more)

My point? Avoid Miller.

Cabe Toyota in Long Beach has always hooked it up for TLCA guys also! Same prices as Dan!

Its your trunion bearings damnit! Bet ya $1 something got tatered when your knuckle studs came loose.

Its not that you cant pinpoint it, its that your too lazy to do the horrible mess of a job to replace them!

Its ok though, i would do the same thing! :D

Naah i aint lazy bro, i spent all weekend working on various things with it! Im just out of time and i dont want to take it on a trip without it being in good shape. FYI Kevin, It was making this noise before the nuts came loose. I'll take that bet

I used to buy all my parts from Claremont toyota through their website trdsource.com and they had great prices . Recently they took their site down and won't let me order parts unless in go in person and provide a credit card. I like to keep my business local as much as possible, does anyone have a good dealer they work with that will provide a discount on cruiser parts in the socal area?

Cabe Toyota in Lomg Beach advertises in Toyota Trails and I believe offers TLCA discounts

I've been going to Toyota in C-Mont for awhile now...just ordered some crap today and saved my usual 20%. Hard to beat that from what I've seen.
