...at least that’s what I think it is! Truth be told, I pulled it off a ‘68 piggy about 28 years ago, and it’s been buried on a shelf in the back of the shop ever since. Has a rectangular bezel on the one end, which I assume was used to mount it to the apron inlet.

The rubber is solid, pliable, and has no cracks. $125 plus the ride from Burbank.

Anyone here able to confirm the application?

looks correct Mark.
IIRCC there would then be a flapper shutoff with a rod that came out under the dash.

This thing?

I'll get pics of mine on Sat.
the one I'm thinking of is smaller and would fit in the end of the duct.
can't say I've seen one of those, wonder if that is a 68-69 only?
those turn lights are nice, 1 or 2 year only

Mark, I hope your mom is doing well.

Mark, originally I was thinking it went with these small vents, but they are too small, then found the bigger vent which is closer in size to the part you posted. I still am unsure if they go together???
I found 1 of the rubber intake piece but it is not as good as yours

It looks like the one for the passenger side. The control was operated from the center dash controls.
