On the hunt for a built FZJ80. Fishing to see if there are any built rigs out there that are not currently listed or someone is sitting on the fence about selling but hasn't listed yet. I've looked at every single listing on the forum, and pretty much every FB marketplace offering within 500 miles. Not afraid to travel or pay for shipping on the right truck, but ideally it would be a fly in drive home deal, or close enough to home to pick it up and trailer home.
Basically looking for something similar to these two trucks below, both of which are for sale on the open market, one of which I have looked at in person. Maintenance history or documented purchases is a bonus as I have a hard time putting a high value on installed parts that aren't documented and I have to take someone's word for it that they exist and were installed properly. I am OK with a truck that needs maintenance/refining, if the price reflects it, but I don't think I'm looking for a full build from the ground up. I do have some nice parts on the shelf to make a stock 80 more capable, but am not convinced yet that I want that much of a project (hellfire, 1ton steering links, new nitro 4.88' F/R, used ARB F/R, 105 sector shaft kit). I'm not married to ODB1 vs. OBD2. Would REALLY prefer a white or slate grey truck.

Looked at this truck locally last night. This was a previous sale ad but the truck is essentially identical to how it was advertised here. It has a decent parts list and setup on the surface, but it needs a TON of attention. None of the electric windows work, roof rack cancer, no documented maintenance history so needs a full baseline, T-case F/R outputs leaking, as well as at the case half split it appears, needs new rear shocks and the front coilovers/bumps need rebuilt, has a couple cracked welds on the coilover towers on the 4UW kit, the power steering pump is anemic and power steering is basically non existent. On the surface build & body wise, this is what I'm looking for save for the color, but at $17k asking, I think it needs way too much.
