Looking for a budget lift for a 80
Springs shocks or whatever needed 2-3in lift
Trying to clear 35’s or just a decent lift and might run 33’s. Trying to get this 80 sorted to either sell or give to my son.

You said budget…….I have a complete set of Tokico OEM shocks practically new. Work with stock height and up to 2”. Reliable, work well, and come with all hardware.

Why not throw on 33’s they will fit just fine with stock height and see how it feels? A lift really changes how these things drive and in my opinion keep it stock unless you plan on doing lots of wheeling.

Decent idea. I can’t leave well enough alone lol. Maybe I can throw on a small coil spacer and some new shocks and 33’s?

You will clear 33’s with stock suspension. The Tokico shocks are a good option and some nice gentleman is offering them at a fair price. If you wanted new springs old man emu offers stock ride height springs if you needed them but I would wait and save your funds for some preventative maintenance! You’re gonna need it on an old cruiser.

As others have said, save for maintenance. Nothing like throwing 1200.00 bucks into a rig immediately for lift, then your stock tires will look small so another 1200.00 for tires then when you get into to drive it something feels “off” and it wanders need caster plates another 200.00 and so on and so forth. There is a lot of things to take into account when lifting a lot more expense other than just the lift so please keep that in mind. Unless you don’t mind your son riding around in something that rides and drives like
