Hi all,

Due to our growing family, I need to sell my beloved FJ40 and pick up a 60 or 80 series. I have owned her for five years and have completed many updates to make her safer, more reliable and a stronger performer. Not sure if I'm over or under pricing, but based off my investment and what I see on the market, I'm looking to get $10k out of her.

The Good:
- Rebuilt entire powertrain (less than 1,500 miles) including engine, 3spd transmission with new clutch, differentials, axles and transfer case
- Retrofitted to power disc brakes on all four tires
- New wheel bearings throughout, rebuilt knuckles
- Installed power steering with Saginaw pump (3 on the tree with power steering is pretty sweet and rare)
- New parking brake installed
- New OEM radiator / thermostat installed
- Rebuilt all tie-rods
- Installed new Weber 38MM carb with full tuning and electric choke
- Installed new electric fuel pump and in-line filter
- Added seatbelts, didn't come stock in 1971 :)
- Custom Yakima roof rack with Megawarrior cage

The Bad:
- The body shows it age and will need obvious work to make it show ready

She has been my daily driver for the past year after all the upgrades and is extremely reliable. Depending on what you want to do you could either keep her as is as a reliable, cool, daily driver, fix up the body and make it a show vehicle, or throw on a performance suspension and make it an off-roading beast. I have over $15k invested into her and can share receipts (majority of work done at TorFab up in Seattle). She comes with the SOR bikini top and and soft top with bow set (not OEM).

We are looking to purchase a solid FJ60 or 80 series for the family, so I'd be open for trades for either of those. Depending on condition happy to take a mix of trade / cash.

Feel free to message with any questions. Thanks again for looking.

Cheers,
Josh
