Just wanted to see if anyone around the Knoxville area has ever done a SOA on a 60? I have the kit and getting to the point where I am close to starting on the fab work. Never done one of these and sure could use the help. Wouldn't be able to pay anyone for the help so it would be out of the goodness of your heart. I can offer up some dinner and cold beer, or even return the favor with some work on your project.

You can take a look at my 40 and get some kind of idea.

Thanks guys, first is to tear the axles apart and rebuild the knuckles. While they are torn apart, think that they will get powder coated. Will post up again when the time comes to do the SO

Do you have a powder coat setup?

Nope, but I know of about 3-4 businesses around town that do powder coat. Soon as I get it done, I will let you know what the price is and the one that I used. That's if anyone wants to do some items.

I was going to say that depending on your timing I can powder coat them for you if you want them done in semi-gloss black.

Heck Yeah, that would be awesome. Let me know when would be a good time for you. I havn't even started tearing them apart yet.

OK. Just let me know when you get them apart. No hurry on my part.

You'll want to do a cut and turn while you're at it. I've done several 40's and a 60.I don't get on the forum a lot. Call me if you have questions 423-253-6012

Sounds like you would be the man to come and see when it comes time to do the cut and turn. Should I do that before rebuilding the axles?

Yes you want to do cut and turn before the new parts go in the axle housing. It has to be completely stripped down so before a rebuild is the prefect time.

tellicorob, texted you one day and left you a message today. Give me a call when you get a chance. Wanted to see if you could, or willing to do my cut and turn. Call me on my cell at 865-368-1334 Thanks, Ryan

Got the axles torn apart down to the bare axle housings. Been trying to get in contact with tellicorob, but havn't had any luck. If anyone knows of a better way to get in contact with him, please help me out. Need to get the cut and turn done on the front axle so that I can get my engine and trans put in place. Want to get my 60 back rolling and body put back together soon. Want to go wheeling in it really bad!!!!!!!
