SOA, hysteer w/fj60 P/S (1 Viewer)

Hi all. I'm done with the SOA w/fj60 axles on my '78 fj40 and am starting the steering with an fj60 p/s box tapped for hydro assist. I have hysteer arms with gm 1 ton tre's, no drag link yet. I was wondering if i need to run a flat pitman arm instead of the stock drop one with the hydro assist ? Thanks in advance, Mike.

Run one that just barely clears your frame. I have about 2" of uptravel on the driver front before my steering doesn't go anywhere. I have actually knocked the grease zert off already :whoops:
