So you want to build a Rockcrawler ! 88 4 Runner and 85 Pickup !
4 runner sold, missed a hell of a deal 100 bucks in a timing belt kit and water pump and she runs like a dream, SOLD !!!!
I still have the 85 rotbox, with a 22r and solid axle, if you come get it before I cut it up.
What I Have :
Whats left of an '85 pickup, the dash and instruments are in decent shape, but beside that its just a 22r motor, that I was told ran, and a Hub, to Hub front axle (including lockouts), rear axle all leaf springs, (1 rear main leaf is broken) and thats about it.
I also have an 88 4 Runner that is completely unmolested ! I think I only saw some rust on the tailgate, and a tiny crack in the paint on one of the rockers. The body is super clean and the interior is awesome, no cracks in the dash. Brand new rear brakes and rubber. It has a 3.0, which I am told has a broken timing belt which is like a 300$ fix, but i figured on just sticking the 22r in it. It is an automatic with power everything and a sunroof ! Apparently the rear window regulator needs some love, but I have a complete spare assembly from a '92.
All this swap needs is some junkyard parts, and a welder and you could have a sick trail rig ! just add gears and lockers !
The trucks are in rochester NY (14546)
and I would like to 3k or best offer out of them, I have a few other v6 parts laying around as well that will go with it.
