Lol yea, I ran out of flux and the hobby store was closed...so yea, my friend said he was cool with the electric tape since it was a park light using only 1 t10 adapter.

Just hop in on the group buy! You know you want to!

he his the lucky few that have projectors already and not some garbage salad bowl with light bulbs in them... oh wait that is teh FJ

Lol dont say that, one of the TRS guys drives an FJ, you dont want them cancelling our offer code:censor:

But his FJ has BIG projectors!

while we are waiting what other things are we going to need to do this install?

dremel
what was the concensus on what to use to hold the ballasts from the the DDM installs?

After talking with Matt for about an hour today we do not think there will be any cutting. He says the 9006 holes are generally big enough for the projector to slide in and still have enough threads to tighten down. So for the 100's it *should* be plug and play. Other than opening the headlights up it should be extremely easy. I am going to tackle mine the day I get the kit in. I will do a full write up with pictures and how to's if some of you want to wait and see what is involved before you start experimenting.

Plug and play as in you remove the stock halogen reflector plate and slide this in and tighten a nut down and you are done

ya I just don't see it.... derp

I wish I had the xterra so I can snap a pic, the bulb fits perfect in the hole! Theres a clip that goes over it and into those tiny holes and you slide to lock it down. Its like the H7 bulb holder in your benz!

don't overthink the install process. It really isn't that hard.

I'm more worried that we dont get to 25 buyers who said they would purchase a set...this is not looking good...I sent out the pm with the code to the people who said they were in for 25% off

WE ARE ALL HOPING THAT YOU RESPOND

Post a group buy link on HIDplanet.com in the general or for sale forum, I'm sure 7 people will jump in for a 25% discount

I just posted a link on hidplanet.com myself, we should get some people that are interested...

My card already got charged for something that hasn't shipped or even has a shipping date... that's not right.

Sorry guys, i know I was on the list, but I'm gonna pass on this one until i see a writeup. I'll just lose my discount.

I don't see how there is any way possible the shrouds can be put in without cutting the headlamp assembly up.
