I just noticed that the 50W ballasts are no longer available in the full kit. What's up with that?

DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR SHROUDS to anything if you are trying to make this project compact! I got some projectors that I ordered for my raptor and they are huge! I will take and upload pics of a size perspective!

Question

Here's what's keeping me from ordering (I've loaded my cart twice, but have yet to hit the submit button because of this).

Call me crazy, but i just don't see how the shroud is going to fit in my headlight assembly, even with modifications...

Pic of my assembly is below. There are two concave areas, each looking to be about 4" in height.

From my reading on the retro site, the shrouds look to be 5" in diameter. Can't seem to make it work in my head.

Any thoughts on this? Am i missing something?

I've been on the fence about this but after spending some time on youtube today there are some very good instructional videos (including trimming the shrouds) - does not seem to be a big problem. I really like the benefits but my unanswered question is how an 03 how the glass lenses will work out. I would really like to see a step by step install on a 100.

I have a dremel and am not afraid of leveling out the top of the shroud to make it fit. I will trim the concave is possible haha I am going to get the silver star! Haha

Got em ordered yesterday like I stated above. I expect they will take a week or so. I requested the XB35 5000K bulbs in the order. Hopefully they can do them. Got the glue too.

Got my projectors ordered...again lol

Did a retrofit earlier with the morimotos. Easy mounting! Hardest part was baking the plastic housing, heat gun was easier. If I can do it, anyone can lol

Ihave the same concern, but will carefully use my harbor freight "dremel" to slightly cut the shrouds to make them fit if need be. Just take a little off at a time.
