a couple of years ago I installed a 2H and h55l 5 speed transmission in an 80 series. It was quite a conversion but worked very well and I was quite happy with it untill this year when I went to renew registration and was informed that my import paperwork was screwed up and invalid. I fought with the authorities for 2 months and of course lost. leaves me with no choice but to part it out. the engine has less than 14000 miles on a complete rebuild incl. the injector pump and injectors. It's tight and very smooth. I want 4500.00 for it. The 5 speed and T case I want 3500.00 for. . The rear bumper and front winch bumper with 10000 lb. winch I want 1300.00 for. Engine includes manifolds, 12V alternator with vacuum pump. Interior and all other parts are negotiable. prices are plus freight from So. Cal. A/C works as well.

Trail Rated not sure how many kilometers it had but the outfit I bought it from told me it had just ove 250000 kilometers. It was from a later model hj60 or perhaps a 62 because it has a vcuuum pot to shift the 4X4. hi / low is with a stick. It came with the 2H engine. Had lots of diesels in canada. with 2 kayaks on top and all the gear we did a 145 mile trip in mountainous terraine on 25 liters of diesel and rhat was with my son driving (he,s got a fairly heavy foot) I'll give you a call tomorrow.
