Those horses are pretty comfortable with people.
I take Gunner for walks back there, and theyll come right up to you.
I try not to get too close though, cuz the may secretly want to do harm to me or my puppy.:hmm:
I friend of mine from work wants to go do some exploring in the hills back there. If we do something soon, Ill give you a call. Itd be cool to get back to the petroglyphs. He's got a lil jeep wrangler he'd be driving. He talks SMACK about Toyota's all the time.:flipoff2::lol:

Been working A LOT of OT at work:bounce::bounce2:
Gotta work X mas day, and the Following Sat...Maybe the following weekend on a Sat.

Gotta keep the vortec fund going!:D

Actually, we had to call the furnace guy out, we had insulation blown into the attic over the garage, OH, and that Christmas thing...

Chains? Did someone say chains?

Without the chains, we would've gone EXACTLY 160 ft into the trail!!

:grinpimp:

Geez, Ali, you forgot this video. Two lockers, four chains, one mighty FZJ80.

That's what I'm talking about. :D Looks like a good trip. I can't wait to get the time to do a decent snow run. Verdi Peak here I come...snow willing.:flipoff2: Did I mention that I still hate chains...

Maybe we can get something scheduled for sometime between January 2-4? That would give us Friday/Saturday or Sunday to pick a day that everyone can get together (that want to go). It's still up in the air for this coming weekend on whether I will be in town or not, and I don't know how many would want to go right after Christmas. So January might be the first weekend that will be available.

I picked a bad day to drive the Corolla. McCarren was a sheet of solid ice from Longly to Mill. It was a little scary driving a motorized skate board on the icy roads with all the big SUVs .

Did someone mention chains? :D

This was yesterday while hunting. Been carrying these chains around for 2-years and finally put them on. They go on/off in a snap and I gotta tell ya: They provide scary traction on snow and ice!

RUDS?

they look just like mine.. blue inside cable and all.

I've owned RUD's and the design is the same (except my RUD's had round link chain) but at the time they didn't offer 35" so I got these from Les Schwab. They have square edege links...and the traction is amazing. In fact the traction is better with these on my AT tires than they were with the MT/R's due to the fact the AT's don't have voids that hide the links.

Nice. We will have to make sure you and Matt are busting trail on a future snow run.:D

The snow just keeps coming. I will be out of town over the Christmas holiday, so January is looking like a good time for a snow run. Can you tell I really want to do a snow run?

Hey Jack you wouldn't be interested in a snow run would you? :flipoff2:

I did fine without chains. :flipoff2: I wish that I could have gone with you guys on Saturday Ali but I was out in the Puerco taking photos. Maybe there will be enough snow when I am back in Reno to do a run this week.

Breaking trail whaaa?? :grinpimp:

Rover's AND Toyota's having a little fun in the snow. Warning: the following video may cause jack to drool on his computer.

YouTube - winter wheeling Mt. Mccaslin

That's what I am talking about.:bounce::steer:

That lead Disco was doing it right, very impressive trail breaker.

You were right, I was barely able to prevent the drool on the keyboard.
