I've been going to Baja and road tripping with a decent amount of camera equipment the last few years and am thinking about building some secure but removable locking rear storage for my 100.

I was wondering if anybody local SD has done made up some homebrew drawers or storage I could take a look at. I'm really interested in checking out your hinges, drawer slides, locks, finish materials and ways to secure to the floor via the 3rd row floor mounts, Suggestions and improvements from your build experience much appreciated as well. I've searched a bunch of drawer threads on here and gotten some ideas but it would be great to check out some builds in person if possible. I am going to try to get this done Surf N Turf this year as I am road tripping/shooting up North afterwards.

Here are my plans for my rear storage:

Small and removable: I would like to make my storage as small as possible but also still hold a camera water housing, an slr body with a fish eye lens, a 500mm lens and possibly space for 1 more lens plus padding, I also don't want to do a full drawer taking up a whole side because I need all the rear storage I can get and a huge drawer isn't useful for my needs.
Strong but not overkill: The storage doesn't have to be "bullet proof" but secure enough not to remove or break into without a sledge and some time. I might diamond plate the outside of the 3/4 ply I use? but definitely plan on securing to the 3rd row seat anchor points.

Basically I just need something to secure my stuff while I am out in the water shooting or surfing in remote spots.

You can come check out my drawers. They are actually out of my truck right now - You'll be able to get a good look at them.

Thanks Mike! I've seen your truck around town a few times but haven't ever been able to stop. Can I PM you for your number?
