Yeah i think the Chief of Police may have been sippin the hooch a bit that day. Luckily it all occurred in broad daylight at a very busy intersection----or he may have decided it easier to dispose of me.......

Is it coincidence that I saw a Jeep with almost the exact same bumper today?

No swingouts, but very similar.

That is a killer bumper!!! Man i wish I had the skills and equipment to make me one!

Finished up the second wing support today and measured up the 2" square tube for the dual swingouts. Plan is to notch both ends and weld it between the carriers as one piece----then cut it down the middle so it lines up dead nuts.

Monday is rain day- going to pick up the aluminum for the rear tailgate and hatch delete............this is where things start getting interesting (aluminum newbie).

Tailgate/hatch delete? :hhmm:

How are you doing that? Did you build a shelf for it or something?

something similar to a regular jerry can holder - but only 3 fit max without getting too close to the exhaust for comfort. jerrys need to lay on side to keep good clearance. vertical hangs slightly lower than frame (too low for my comfort level clearance wise)
