thought I'd share this...all 4 windows were crazy slow going up and down and thought I'd try
the easy way first...I bought a can of spray Teflon lube spray...it has no oils of any kind and
once the liquid "vehicle" evaporates what's left behind is a fine Teflon powder...all 4 windows
work just great...all I did was spray into the top of each window's guide channels with the window down and let it dribble
down mid way and then roll the window up, then down to try and spread it out...certainly would work better if you open
up the door and spray inside bottom of the channels, but, I was lazy...it's been working good for bout 8 months...

Sounds like a good idea, that's what I like to spray on my hinges

Have had good results with these. Work well where you want lube, but not attracting dirt, lock, weather strip, etc. On window runs, have had the best results when they are cleaned first, rub with a towel, brush, blow with compressed air, then lube.

Never had any luck lubing window runs. Even if it seems good at the time, when temps drop below 40* the problem always is back regardless of lube used and I have tried many.

In the end, cleaning the regulator, applying fresh lube to it, cleaning contacts at switches and replacing the runs plus inner and outer wipers has always returned them to like new for me.

Cheers

here’s what I used...and SNLC, do you know if anyone has done a write-up on the process?
