Has anyone ever installed sliding side windows on the rear cab? Since I'm not running A/C on my '72 fj40, I was thinking this might be a nice alternative to get at least a little ventilation. Any thoughts?

there was ann article in 4 wheeler back in the 70s on how to do this.they used camper windows and the truck looked like an armored car.probably can find a better window now good luck

The FJ80 had sliding rear windows, but I'm pretty sure they're not the right size for a 40.

BJ42 LX's came with them, don't know what else did.
a quick google image search (for 'BJ42 LX') found these, and I am sure there are a heap more.

BJ44's and 46's came with sliding side windows. However, they are bigger than 40 side windows. But they might work on some of the 70's 40's???!!
