still waiting...

Hey Y'all... being worked on as we wait now... I haven't heard anything as of this evening... (sunday 8-21-05)... how would people feel if the price was even less & then they had to get the powdercoat themselves or paint themselves... this would save a bunch for someone who wanted them sooner than later ya know... less money needed to buy upfront... just curious...

I've alway been fond of black rattle can

$$

I'm hoping to be able to get these out to people for like 5-600... but will have to see about more on the shipping... if no powder coat, I bet this will onclude the whole package to your door... don't quote me yet... I'm being as optimistic as I can...

still waiting...

haven't forgotten'... just patiently (yeah right) waiting to see the dilly...

I built my own because what is available is not exactly what I wanted and I didn't feel they would do what I want on the east coast. I agree there is a need for east coast sliders.
This is not any kind of bust on Christo and everyone elses product, just a different need I think.

however, all said and done and without any price on all the labor, my sliders ended up costing me at least $800 it's hard to do it cheap. I'm very very happy with them though!

stilll fawkin' waiting... snag @ shop this last week (other projects apparently... not a prob w/ these...) anywho.. damn, $800 for just material??? powdercoated?? you got robbed on steel if that's all it consisted of... sorry for a blue ballin ya'll...

Yeah $800 for homemade sliders sounded a little hight to me too...

yup, steels expensive if you don't have a good way to buy it. Even if you do it's expensive.
and yes they are powdered, although that only cost me around $150

You have to keep in mind all the little stuff like bolts and all the plate I used for mounting etc. it nickle and dimed me up to a pretty high price.

I have pics but my servers down and I don't have anywhere to link to right now. Sorry!

were talkin' maybe $150-200 worth of steel...that's not expensive at all for what this application is intended for...
