You really didn't install them like right as FedEx was delivering them??? I'd be out there waiting with my tools in hand!

Small business owner, work travelling, month long family vacation, kids, Christmas and pretty much patience to find the right time....

The sliders came in at the absolute wrong time of year. I had to wait until I had a full morning...or I guess I could have paid someone else to install them. I was in no rush as our trails have been closed since late October, and won't be open until April.

I ended up getting the all black...I prefer the stealth look as much as possible. The sun hasn't quite come up yet, so I've got to wait on the pics. As soon as I can get some good ones, I'll get them up here.

For you guys, black looks best. But for me, since I have a silver LC, I'm going with the stainless inserts on the sliders and the silver/gray ARB bumper (well, maybe back depending on if I do the rear at the same time...does the Kaymar come in silver???)

The nice thing about black though is it is so easy to refinish or touchup if you really care to do so. So I guess we'll see!

As I mentioned earlier, I finally had some time to throw Slee's sliders on my rig. After a couple of days with melting snow, I noticed that the sliders love to collect snow, and it makes them really slippery.

I pulled the 200 into the shop this morning to let all the snow melt off. Once it was a little drier, I managed to clean the sliders up, and add a marine grade grip tape to the rail. This is a temporary fix until I can pull them off and spray a section of textured paint over top.

Looks good. I think I may take your idea of the textured paint and bedline mine before I put them on thanks for the tip.

If you used the 3M grip tape, it lasts a long time, so you might want to just stick with it. I get about 4 years and then have to replace. It's also grippier than textured paint and if it gets scraped off, it's much easier to fix.
