Anybody know of a company that makes 35 inch mud tires narrower than 12.50? I did see some Swampers that are 10.5 wide but I'm looking for something that's a more traditional mud tire. The only thing I've found is Buckshots--they're not measured in a conventional inch measure but come out to about a 35 inch tall and about 11 wide. Any other options you guys know about?

Simex Jungle Trekker II

I've been in a GU Patrol Wagon with the Jungle Trekker in a 280/85 16. :flipoff2: This was also the Largest Tyres I've ever seen on a 4WD. :) 34.7 x 11" :whoops:

ya ya...ya'll got more options over there for tires that size.. :-\

Do you know if the Simex are DOT approved?

Don't know about being DOT approved, As that's just an American thing. Although they are Load Rated, But posilble not Speed rated. - All the Tyres I listed are Malaysian, As the Four Wheel Driving is similar to Australia.
The Simex Jungle Trekker's I saw on the Nissan Patrol were Speed Rated to 160km/h and were a Radial(Made purely out of Nylon). - Can't get these anymore and Simex 4WD Tyres these days are very exspensive.
Also, You won't see any Malaysian Tyres bigger than 36x13, As that's the largest allowed in Competitions in Malaysia.

simex's aren't road legal in aus... just track legal.

and doesn't/ didn't bfgoodrich make a 35 x 10.5... i remember seeing that size, thinking it'd be ideal for my 40, as it rubs 12.5's on the inside of the rear.

try military michelins 8.25r16 or the 9.00r16 dieselcruiserhead has a set of the 9r16s in the for sale section.

8.25r16 size was available, but not in the US i was told. BUT i want some.

Why not 255/85r16s. Yeah, you gotta switch to 16" wheels, but it's like a ~ 34x10 or some such.

16" Rims are/were standard on just about all Landcruisers. :slap:

Not in the US :-X All you :princess:s down under get all the good stuff from Toyota, don't you. I should have done the maths though, yes on the 33" not the 34".

they do or did but they are VERY expensive, they are the Baja TA or something, like $300 bones each.
