Got an material question for ya'll:

I going to fabricate panels for the cargo area. I need to know what material would be best to cover the panels, the floor of the cargo area and the back fo the seat. I want something thick, durable, water proof and cheap. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

3M treated cotton 'duck' cloth?

I'd recommend some sort of commercial grade truck tarp. The stuff has got ot be reasonalby priced and tough as nails.

Imagine you were a trucker, where would you go to get a tarp to cover your load ???

You could Rhino line it.

Or use Hurculiner and do it yourself.

That stuff is bullet proof.

I rhino-lined the entire floor board and ceiling. I marine carpeted dense particle board for the cargo sides, using the orig. panels for template.

I really like the rhino-lining alot.

Stall matting, 1/2-1" rubber like stuff for horse stalls. Indestructible, well most likely. made to withstand a horse all day.

if not that then conveyor belt material. I've made snowshoe harnesses out of the 1/4" stuff and it's pretty darn tough.
