Side window anti-pinch settings

I've got a question on whether or not the anti-pinch settings on the side window regulators can be reset while installed in the door. Is this possible, or do I need to fully remove the glass and window regulator motor to reset the upper limit? I've been digging around on here and on Youtube and the closest thing I've found are this video and the PDF below.

If anybody has any tips on doing this adjustment with the glass installed, It would be much appreciated. I'd rather not rip the door apart again.

To reset limits of side glass you hold the button up until the glass goes all the way up, keep holding it up and count to five, then hold down until it goes all the way down, keep holding it down and count to five, then I go up all the way again, and keep holding it up and count another five. Same for sunroof but open close vs up and down. When the glass reaches a limit and you hold the button it now sets the limit. Hope that helps.

Did you have any luck with this? Im stuck aswell, the bolt had come off and tried to pull it back into place now im up s*** creek...
