This is Isis. I adopted her from a private shelter when she was 9 months, and she will now be 3 in a week. High maintenance she is. Bad tummy, has to take pills for her bladder or she wets the bed in her sleep, but a damn good, super smart, easiest training dog ever. Mostly Am. Staff., but I think she has a little border collie in her judging by the spots, and her speed. Sweet, but super protective, and alert. She doesn't miss anything.
I have to add a pic or two of my old 'wheeling buddy, Sophie. We picked her up at the pound, she growled fiercly at anyone that approached her pen, except for us, Karma I guess. I dunno what kinda mix she was, but was just a great old dog.
R.I.P. 'ol buddy.
One of my favourite pictures of all time, Sophie 'driving' my '45.
From largest to smallest. And all 3 are freakin nuts!
Dew........for his unquenchable thirst for Mountain Dew. He was sort of a rescue. He was abandoned by his mother and my daughter bottle fed him. Scary when he growls at the pizza man but the biggest baby I have ever seen. Lab/Chow mix approx. 70 lbs.
Jojo........was already named when we got him. He was a rescue with mange and parvo. Very defensive. Someone had been mean to him before I got him. He's coming along nicely now but there was a whole month when he tried to eat my left arm. He's such loving little dog now & makes me laugh constantly. Sckipperkie/Chow mix approx. 30 lbs.
Daisy Mae........she's my little mudder. If there's something going on, she's on it. She rules the house and whips the boys into shape. She is always attached to my ankles. I swear this dog tries to talk and she ALWAYS has something to say. She's a Westhighland White Terrier but I never got around to getting her papers. Approx. 12 lbs.
Buddy & Honi were my first dogs as a grown up, Yorkies. Both passed in 2004. I miss them still. They were my little babies.
Well, this Oreo, a lab mix??? We got him when he was about 9 months old. My neighbors found him wandering in the dunes in Glamis. He has been a great dog, great with the kids and will not leave the yard. I guess he was lost once and he didn't like it.
