I haven't looked in a long time but I recall the bracket just bolting in with about 4 bolts. It bolts into the side(corner) panel at the top edge and has no affiliation with the hard top cap that I remember. But I rarely remember things anymore. Or I remember them differently than they happened.
I was referring to the lower bracket that spot welds to the lower part of the hard top. I have pictures of the upper bracket. It was one Id seen in person is the reason I searched for one. Seen pictures of the lower section but don't have any. My other option is the lower bracket used on 4X series V models with three point seat belts but no roll bar.
