I need to have some bodywork done on my cruiser one from an accident, got reared by a drunk driver on the highway, still don't really know how that happens and two Need to fix some previous shoddy work that was done. The question is my 77 is your typical JDM silver in top and blue bottom. The body shop will respray the lower half of the whole truck for $600. There's no rust at all just 220km's of wear and tear on the paint but for a few more$$ they will paint the truck silver. Now I now it's my money and my decision but I think I may go silver for the whole truck, kinda like getting a new one without buying one. Any thoughts or pictures of other cruisers would be fantastic

petzel on the forum has a all silver 77. Looks good.
I hate it when the color change a vehicle. s*** never matches after.
You can probably get brand new doors off a prado and just put them on.
There are a bunch here in BC.

I agree but they have to fix the rear quarter from previous work the rear doors from the accident and a small dent on the drivers door from my own stupidity. So the way I look at it I'll have new paint on the rear quarter 2 back doors and drivers door so of I do at least the lower half it all looks new. If I go silver for the whole truck they will paint everything except the hood and roof which are a 9 out of 10

for sure. If your door wells are one color I would go with that. If its that two tone, go two tone.
I hate it when you can spot color changes.

go all silver and tint the windows. my 2 cent. they look good in a solid colour.
