Should I buy?

In the paper today a 85 4runner was listed. was sas, but the owner cut the mounts off to run custom axles. No big deal, that I can fab up, body is in perfect shape, inside is clean. Forgot to ask about the engine, but more so looking for a trail only project. $750. Whatcha thing? Comes with a rear axle, but forgot to ask what it was. Trying to justify if I should go check it out.

Got ot be worth a look, even if you dont buy it, by what else he may have, or what he has done to it, which you can learn from etc etc etc.

if the body (and other) is perfect, and all it needs is a new front spring hanger and axle.... buy it. Pick up a frong anger from Marlin, AllPro, Sky or other, and you're set.

85 is the Year to have for 4 runners and trucks.. First year for EFI last year for Solid Axels.. Buy it for $750 if it runs, and maybe even if it dosent

$750US sounds like a pretty good price for a 84 runner, even in only fair condition.

Parts will be easily available & mods are pretty straight forward.
